About STECHOQ: a robotics and Industry 4.0 R&D company from Yogyakarta.
Founded in 2015 by a team of international robotics competition winners. Fully Indonesian-owned, headquartered in Yogyakarta with engineers in Bekasi and Karawang.
It began with a gold medal.
Before STECHOQ existed, its founding team won gold at the Trinity College Robot Contest in Connecticut and placed at RoboGames in California, fire-fighting, Natcar and balancer categories, in 2013, alongside national titles in robotics, unmanned fast boats and scientific presentation. In 2015 the team founded STECHOQ to turn that engineering into products Indonesia could make itself.

STECHOQ's first research was in defence technology, and its founding spirit is national service through engineering. Director Malik Khidir received the Ministry of Defence's Bela Negara award for young leaders in 2015 and led the national Bela Negara Day ceremony at Monas in 2016. The motto has stayed on the logo ever since.
